What Sevrel Does

Instead of manually searching through folders of PDFs, spreadsheets, and lease agreements, you type a question in plain English and Sevrel finds the answer from your documents. Every response includes source citations so you can verify the information directly.

How It Works

Sevrel uses a technique called Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). When you ask a question, Sevrel:

1. Searches your documents — finds the most relevant files in your Egnyte library based on your query
2. Reads and extracts — pulls the relevant text from those documents (PDFs, spreadsheets, Word docs)
3. Generates an answer — an AI model reads the extracted content and writes a clear, concise response
4. Cites its sources — every claim links back to the specific document it came from

Your documents stay in Egnyte. Sevrel reads them on demand — it does not copy or store your files separately.
