Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sevrel ("the Service"), operated by Romulus, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Sevrel is an AI-powered document intelligence platform for commercial real estate organizations. It provides document search and analysis grounded in your organization's Egnyte file library, email and calendar integration via Microsoft 365, web search for market data, conversation memory, and compliance audit logging. AI capabilities are powered by Anthropic's Claude API.

3. Account & Access

Access to Sevrel requires authentication through your organization's Microsoft Entra ID account. Your organization administrator controls who has access to the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including any multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods and API keys associated with your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the AI system
• Attempt to extract, exfiltrate, or misuse data belonging to other organizations
• Use the Service to generate content that violates applicable laws or regulations

5. Intellectual Property

You and your organization retain ownership of all documents and data you access through the Service. Sevrel retains ownership of the platform, its software, and infrastructure. AI-generated outputs are provided as-is and should not be treated as legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying AI outputs against source documents before making business decisions.

6. AI Services & Third-Party Processing

The Service uses Anthropic's Claude API to process your queries and analyze documents. When you use the Service, your queries and relevant document context are sent to Anthropic's servers for AI processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models when accessed via their API. The Service also uses Claude's built-in web search capability to retrieve current market data, news, and publicly available information when relevant to your queries.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies. Sevrel is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or real estate advice. Always verify AI outputs against source documents. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of web search results or AI-generated analysis.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Romulus, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs, service interruptions, or data loss.

9. Data Handling

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your queries and document context are processed by Anthropic's Claude API for AI-powered analysis. Documents are accessed from your organization's Egnyte file library in real time and are not permanently stored by Sevrel beyond conversation context.

10. Billing & Subscription

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Billing is handled through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms, non-payment, or at the request of your organization administrator. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Conversation history and user preferences may be deleted upon account termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
